I Love My Blue Turquoise Cabochon Necklace Wrapped in Silk Faerie Ribbon

Well, this blog post is my far the closest to my heart, simply because this beautiful blue turquoise cabochon necklace was custom made just for me by none other that the lovely owner of Artemis Boutique, Jennifer J. Shortess.

Turquoise is a very special healing crystal, it is used to keep the emotional body in balance. A necklace like this, one that allows the crystal to lay flat on my body, will bring feelings of serenity, grounding and peace. If I had to describe the way I feel when I have this on, I would say I feel like a calm lakefront, just before sunrise.

On nights when can't sleep, I'll be sure to tuck this necklace underneath my pillow and all restless thoughts of the day's anxiety will most likely subside in an instant.  I also plan to place this necklace on my open palm during my morning meditations, especially when I know I will be having to face a rather turbulent day ahead.

I feel lucky and blessed to be able to wear the bluest of the blue turquoise cabochon, wrapped in silk faerie ribbon with long ends left unfinished to tie which is a clear parallel of the spirit within this custom-made piece. I've done my best to capture all of the emotion that this necklace has invoked within me here in a few photos, however none of them truly suffice.  If this piece could talk, it would whisper, "Namaste."
